My Birthday party

I had a wonderful Birthday party on July 29th. I turned three years old - probably this is 21 human years. So, I am a university student.

Thank you Mom - I am very happy with the surprise picnic in our backyard! 

Even more surprises! My nose works very well - I found it! A homemade cup cake cookie for Birthday dogs! 

Thanks again - all my favorite treats at the same time. Everything is very delicious. I like my bow-tie too! Some highlights of the event:

Mulberries

This summer discovery is a Mulberry Tree in the very back of our backyard. There are also several on our street and as it turned out only squirrels and raccoons know about mulberries. Mulberries  (Maulbeere in German and Tutovnik or Tjutina in Russian) contains a lot of nutrients including iron, calcium, vitamin C, protein and fiber. They also contain resveratrol which is good for heart health. There are black, red, and white mulberries – we have black mulberries.
  

Mulberries are very delicious. They don’t last long that’s why it is hard to find them in the fruit/vegetables stores. If you have a lot of them – jam or compot is the most delicious solution! Just don't forget to remove the little green stems.

I like to pick up mulberries from the ground but I am not interested eating them from the bowl.

My girlfriend Mauly

I am happy to introduce you to my girlfriend Mauly. She is half-dachshund / half-jack russell. We like to play crazy games together and to share some drinks afterwards. I met her at a nice art store Artisans At Work where she works and since that day I have been visiting her there. 

Cosmic Voyage

Mom has made it into the top 100 designs for a fabric design competition held by Spoonflower and Robert Kaufman Fabrics. The 100 designs have been opened for public voting.  If you like her design, please feel free to vote for her here. I voted, though would prefer to see cosmic dachshunds in space.
